The recipes for the eight courses of this dinner party have been re-created and modernised for you following painstaking research by our historic cookery writer, Carol Wilson of the British Guild of Food Writers.

Remember at your dinner party that dishes are served from the left and removed from the right. Drinks are poured from the right and glasses are never more than two-thirds full (half a glass for wine).

On Titanic’s last night dinner in the first class restaurant was under the watchful eye of Luigi Gatti, chef and professional restaurateur. Luigi was a key person on the ship since he had ordered your food and all the supplies for the trip. We ordered the CD and trivia etc!
